Weekend List: 9.25.16

It’s been a few weeks since I posted awesome things around the internet so I have some good ones saved up.

  1. Kamila Dmowska T-Shirt Dress – I wish I could throw on one article of clothing and look beautiful and chic. And while we’re wishing for things, I wish I could afford this dress.
  2. Sonos sound system – Oops I actually bought this one. I couldn’t help it! So far we’re starting with the playbar and then we’ll build on the system on the future.
  3. Drift and Ambrosia Magazines – these sister magazines, focusing on coffee and food respectively, are owned by a husband and wife team. They look beautiful.
  4. The Pearl by Lo & Sons – their facebook ad really got me. And I think it would go beautifully with the Kamila Dmowska dress listed above.
  5. Float Frame by Artifact Uprising – as the house is coming together, it’s time to start covering those blank white walls!

Here is my fairly, foolproof method.

Cooking with Family: First Curry and a Summer Peach Dessert

This long Labor Day weekend was one of food and family. Having my brother in town means another pair of hands in the kitchen! And what better opportunity to try my first curry and a peach dessert that have been burning the pixels on my pinterest board for months. First for the butter chicken. This particular recipe was specifically a slow cooker recipe but we made some adjustments and used my dutch oven instead.

Prequel to London: A Walking Tour

London is my favorite city in the world. It’s really important to me that I include London in my blog and that I represent it with the love that I have for it. I spent 6 months of my life there. I met my husband there. It was practically the most important time in my adult life, so it’s an important part of me. It’s because of this that I have decided that I must write my guide to London. It’s never going to be THE guide to London, and it’s not so much for anyone else as it is for me. It will be my love letter to my favorite place on earth.
